Last updated: 26 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Marta ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit this website or contact us, in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

1. Data Controller

The data controller responsible for the processing of your personal data is Marta. For any privacy-related question or to exercise your rights, please contact us through the contact form on this website.

2. Personal Data We Collect

We collect the personal data you voluntarily provide through the contact form (name, email, phone, location, message) and, with your consent, technical data through cookies (see section 7).

3. Purposes and Legal Basis

We process your data to (a) respond to your enquiry and provide information about the mentorship (legal basis: pre-contractual measures and your consent — Art. 6(1)(a)(b) GDPR); (b) ensure the security and proper functioning of the website (legitimate interest — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); (c) analyse traffic and improve our services, only when you accept analytical cookies (consent — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. Data Retention

Contact data is kept for the time strictly necessary to respond to your request and, where applicable, for the duration of the contractual relationship plus the legal limitation periods. Cookie data follows the retention periods set in the cookie settings.

5. Sharing and Transfers

We do not sell your personal data. Data may be processed by trusted service providers (hosting, email, analytics) acting as processors under a data processing agreement. International transfers, when required, rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission.

6. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability and to withdraw your consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Portugal: CNPD — www.cnpd.pt).

7. Cookies

This website uses strictly necessary cookies and, subject to your consent, analytical and marketing cookies. You can accept, refuse or configure your preferences at any time through the cookie banner.

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with the date of the last update.
